Hey, don't be ashamed of Gnarls Barkley. They're amazing. Cee-Lo's voice is, to quote the movie Step Brothers, "a combination of Fergie and Jesus." big_smile big_smile My old band used to cover Crazy, and we had a lot of fun with it.

Alright, you've beaten it out of me and I will confess now. I once owned "More of the Monkees"! What on Earth was I thinking? At the time, I also owned some Jimi Hendrix albums. Obviously, it was a time of confusion during my earlier days on this planet. However, I'm much better now(?)! yikes

Re: Most Embarrassing Albums

I have several project pat (gangsta rap) albums i like to listen to occasionally when running.  beyond that I have gotten rid of most of my crap as I never listen to it.

Well, I also have about every manowar album on my itunes because my buddy was letting me go through his tunes and rip what I wanted so i figured what the hell its free.  Same thing with keller williams and my brother.  he had a ton of his albums so I got them figuring well, the guy is talented, maybe i'll learn to like him.  Most may not even call him embarassing but there is just this asinine, annoying quality to him even though he is a hell of a player.

I also have black label society's mafia.  although I love Wylde's solo material, that is a pretty crap album that I paid good money for.  Well at least it contains a few good riffs to compliment the typical wylde electric superfast solo wankery.

First album I got was green day live released right around the time of dookie.  nothing too embarassing about that except it was a japanese import and i paid something like forty bucks for it and its an ep.  and I have no idea where it is.

Rocket

I didn't explain WHY it descended to the level of embarrassing for even me...

This was pretty obscure I think the thing that drew me into purchasing it is what turned into the biggest embarrassment...

What is most embarrassing about my choice is the heavy friends were Jimmy Page, John Bonham, Jeff Beck, Noel Redding, & I think Nicky Hopkins.....and this Album SUCKED SO BAD... Don't be enticed kids if you ever find it... although there were some pre-Zeppelin previews taken, but so few that the reek was not risen above....

Re: Most Embarrassing Albums

That is wicked cool. That shows what an amazing song that is. Take away the electronic beats and just have the arrangement and the lyrics, it's a great song. And that performance is great too. smile
