Topic: Henrik Freischlader Band

I saw him for the second time at the Grolsch Schoeppingen Bluesfestival and he is great.

You should check him out. I don't know if his CD's are available in every country but you should give it a try!

He has 3 CD's on the market: 
-The Blues (2005)
-Get Closer (2007). He thanks Joe for inviting him to tour  together. Michael Lynch and I saw them playing together in Hannover. Joe likes him  very much!
-Live  (2008) Triple live Cd.

Right. He's absolutely great. Saw him two times in Hamburg, got his 'five cds' (yeah 1+1+3 lol ) and love his work. I only think he could optimize his tone a bit....

Andre, you forgot to mention the CD to his new project:

5Live  (2008 or 2009, not sure - more jazzy than the stuff he does with his own band).

Henrik is great and he has improved a lot since opening for Joe a few years ago (he was good then as well of course!). Good to have a German Bluesrock Band like that ... they´re really popular over here (and rightfully so).

Henrik is a wonderful Blues artist playing a sound and vibe that's hugely enjoyable
Great voice too and soulful playing plus the 2 times i saw the band live opening for JB in Hannover & Berlin Feb 07 they had an incredible drummer who was awesome
One of my fave Blues artists in Europe and if you get the chance to see him Live , A great night out will be had and his CD i have "The Blues" is very very good , not one bad song on it
guess i'm gonna get the cd's both Eva & Andre mentioned ....... Plus The Boss is a fan too

They're also a great backing band, as they showed when playing for Layla Zoe - who is one hell of a singer too! Shame no one has checked her out. sad
