#255 is currently on Wildwood's site in the new Gibson listings. Looks unaged.

I wrote to the guy who set up the guitar at Musician's Friend and he wrote back telling me that they are D'addario XL 11's. I thought that was strange given Joe uses Ernie Balls, and this is a Gibson guitar. I had a feeling they were not Ernie Balls; they were just too stiff.

Well finally JBLP 266 has arrived at my house in the UK. It's a long story of how she got to the UK and it has taken over 2 months in all, but the wait has been worthwhile.

Ugh-I forget the number. It's either 84 or 94...I think. I'll check it when I get home. Had a choice of two and they both sounded great and looked identical. It came down to girth. The one I ended up with was almost a pound lighter.

My favorite LP, probably my favorite guitar overall and that is saying something. I have to admit, I changed the knobs to 4 matching gold tophats and threw in a pair of sheptone pups. Just love this guitar.

I have not posted on the forum before, but unfortunately, due to financial situation, I have to sell my JB Les Paul...

I know it is not really cool to use this forum as a selling platform, but I would rather a real fan of Joe was able to get it, that just some collector on eBay, so I thought I would put my details on here.

If anyone is interested, or want to see some pictures, please let me know. I am based in London, England, but can ship the guitar internationally if required.

It is Number 242 of the 300 Ltd Edition Gibson Custom Shop Inspired By Les Paul Aged Goldtops. I believe they are now sold out at Gibson, so if you are yet to get one, here is your chance - I'm sure, as you have read here on the forums, it is a fantastic guitar!
