Hi,
we are a group of about six people coming from Nürnberg.

My first Joe concert in the post-RAH era. Even when RAH was outstanding, it was not at all disapointening. The venue must have been sold out, a lot of younger people and women. We stood in the first row as usual and could watch Joe playing with high energy. It´s the same songs I´ve heard so often now, but with brandnew intros and a lot of sparkling improvisations. I even heard a kind of rockabilly sound for some moments. As usual the acoustic part was a highlight and very much appreciated by the audience. Next concert: end of July, together with Steve Winwood.

What can I say about show #18 (if I counted correctly...)?!
Maybe just a thought that I had during "Just got paid" ......... I thought:
"If Eric Clapton (a/k/a GOD) brought together all of todays Blues and Rock greats, if he knocked on heaven´s door to get Jimi, Robert and Elmore back down on earth for a little jam .... even if he had all of them together on a stage at the same time and the Joe Bonamassa Band played next door in a chicken coop - I would head for the chicken coop without even thinking twice."
Best Band on the planet, without a doubt - even after 18 shows.
