Topic: Jazz FM "Blues and Boogie" Saturday morning show.

I've just been reading the  Jazz FM interview in this months "Blues In Britain".   It seems that Jazz FM now have a Blues and Boogie Show on Saturday morning.  I wonder if they play Joe's music on it?  I'm always out on a Saturday morning, that's the trouble and they don't have "listen again".  Has any one ever listened to it?

Reading the interview with Richard Wheatly, of Jazz FM, it seems that they think that  "jazz/blues music is only listened to late in the evenings, or at weekends".  I listen to blues music at any time of the day or night.  Don't you? smile

"I guess the music is the reason and the key, for me. It takes the blues, to see!"  Gary Fletcher, of The Blues Band. The Blues Band are Paul Jones, Tom McGuinness, Dave Kelly, Gary Fletcher and Rob Townsend.

Hi jane

I listened to it a few months ago as it featured an interview with Aynsley Lister which has been brought to my attention via his website.  The interview was quite interesting, however I would say that most of the blues featured was of the more traditional forms.

"The recently formed Edinburgh Blues Club has identified an appetite for the personal communication between musicians and audience that the blues long ago perfected." The Herald Newspaper (Scotland)
