Topic: Looking for....

Hey all.  I'm looking to get a Chandler SDE-2 rack echo and a Boss RCC-10 micro-series rack chorus.  I can't track them down any where.  Any one have any suggestions where to look?  Ebay has nothing, bummer.

Thanks,
Ben

PS - Anyone ever try one and what do you think?

Re: Looking for....

Brother I tried looking them up on Yahoo and didn't even get remotely close to a delay or chorus rack effects.  Are you sure that's the right info?

Re: Looking for....

Ah yes, the old Chandler rackmount echos.  I think Joe Satch was/is a big fan of those old units.  Pretty great sounding from what I've heard.  I have seen them come up on Ebay from time to time but they are not exactly a run of the mill item.  Boss rack chorus hmm...never heard of that particular unit.  You may be better off getting a rack TC Electronics unit for echos and chorus.  Sorry dude that's some rare '80s stuff...don't know where to look for rack equipment.  May I pry a bit, what do you have up your sleeve Ben?  I didn't think it was possible to add anything else to The Rig Of Doom! tongue

Re: Looking for....

I have absolutley nothing up my sleeve wink lol.  I might have a lead on an sde-2.  The boss rack mount units I see from time to time on ebay, but again rare.

Another thing I'm looking for is an old Peavey Valverb if anyone knows where they are, I'm interested.

Re: Looking for....

Update - the guy didn't have a sde-2, he had the original sde.  The only diff. is the sde-2 has a input level knob.  I'm not sure what it does, maybe for overload.  He had it for a decent price, but never playing either I think I want the input level knob.  Does anybody have experience with either or both?  Input on each would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

Re: Looking for....

I have an SDE.

Warm, thick, good stuff!

Never needed an Input Level Knob.

How much for the SDE? If you don't want it.............:D
