Topic: Videos from my last gig May, 16

Hey there, here's three videos from my bluesband's last gig on last saturday.
My set up on that night:
Jimmie Vaughan Strat, Fulltone OCD, Marshall JTM45 RI

Please excuse the video quality, I hope you enjoy the videos anyway. It's two of our own songs and one John Mayer cover called "Find another you".

YES
Very very good I think that the jtm 45 suits your playing and a strat.
this is one of the best amps but your playing is also good
I like the songs, but in scotland we need to p[lay more mainstream
in clubs which is a pity but well played !!!

"Everybody's entitled to my opinion. wink

Wow man those are some killer tones and some great playing!  Man that JTM45 sounds great in a band setting.  Your band sounds great as well.  Man this is really making me want to get some guys together and play out bigtime.  It's a shame though that in my neck of the woods people aren't really interested in that kind of music.  We have a pretty big hardcore/metal scene here which sucks major for all the blues/rock guitarists.  Thanks for sharing those videos, very nice! cool

100% said what I have thought - word for word.

Very sad scene around here! I know one or two guys - out of 20-30k! sad

Great job Jimi! I like the songs and the playing. That is a really nice tone from the jtm45 and strat combination too. These videos are cool, I'd love to see more of your band and of other guy's bands from this forum.

Thank you all for your kind comments. It feels really great to get positive feedback from you guys!
I believe I have found in my JTM45 what I was looking for all these years - pure sound that cut nicely through. The JTM45 sounds really organic and dynamic. The JV Strat is my number 1. I got also a 62 vintage and a Herndrix Tribute Strat, both sound "small" against the Mexican Monster ;-)

Still looking for a nice Les Paul to add to my set up.

You know, I love keeping it simple.
