ROFL so so true. Man if I had an original 2555 I'd keep that sucker but if you need the cash...I would say that EBAY or TGP emporium would get you the most hits and serious buyers. Or here for that matter as many of the guys here have them or want one for the obvious reasons. I've seen some 2555's go for rediculous prices but since Ceriatone released a PTP clone of it I think the prices have fallen slightly. Depending on the condition I think a very clean 2555 with new tubes and servicing could easily go for over 2 grand. I would not take anything less than that for sure. As far as a small amp that you can reasonably crank and get some AMAZING Marshall tones out of check out the Fargen Mini Plex MK I or MKII. It's not a "do it all" amp but it does what it advertises: Marshall roar at low volumes. It has the 60's (plexi), 70's (JMP MV), and 80's (JCM800/Jubilee) switches to change the era of tones.
