Cool, nice find.

Will be used for BOJH I suppose

That's a cool looking guitar, love the color. I wonder how heavy that sucker is?

Here's some more info from the Ernie Ball forum...

"They asked us 3/27 if we could even consider a double neck. On April 9th we had a conference call with Joe and 3 weeks later here she is! Amazing.

The pickups are Y2D except for single coils(custom) and the rings custom made. It has a 2 way selector switch as Joe does not want both guitars on at the same time. The bari neck is a thicker profile than the Y2D, and the body African Mahogany with maple top. No pickguard... 12.3lbs super light!

Joe asked us to finish the back of the neck as he got used to the Petrucci BFR feel. I think the bursting is killer..."

Once I saw Joe start dabbling with the Ernie Ball guitars I knew it was just a matter of time before they started making him his own guitars.  I think that guitar is stunning.  I can only imagine how much more interesting BOJH and Mountain Time are going to get with that guitar in his arsenal!  Anyone have an idea if it's going into production and if there is a price?  I don't think I would ever spend the $$$ for just a baritone guitar but I like that one because it has a regular axe beneath it.  Way cool! cool

'67 and '74 Fender Twin Reverbs, '74 Marshall 1987 lead mkII, Metro Superlead 100. Pedals from TC Electronic, Ibanez, Dunlop, BK Butler, Electro-Harmonix, Fulltone, Maestro/Gibson, Loopmaster switching, VoodooLab, Boss. Gibson and Fender guitars, Dimarzio pickups.

Good lord, that is superific!:D

Kevin shirley reports that Joe tried it in rehersal but had problems accessing the controls instantly so the decision was made to go with plan A. Methinks that was a good decision, given the occasion.
