Topic: Lynyrd Skynyrd 27th May, Glasgow

Hey guys,

Anybody going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd later this month in glasgow??

I cant wait!!!

Gonna be wearing my Ronnie Van Zant texas hatter...hat.Cost alot of money so if i dont wear it to this gig i think my girlfriend would kill me lol

This will be the first time ive seen them live and its such a pity im not gonna get to see Billy Powell

Saw them a couple of years ago at Wembley Arena when they were on the same bill as Deep Purple, and I have to say they were way better than Purple that night.

Ive heard a few people saying the same thing.

They said it was pretty hard for Deep Purple to follow after Freebird.

I've been carrying around one of Ean's picks he laid on me last Aug., I met him 2years ago and I'm stunned by his untimely passing yesterday.

I heard today that Aynsley Lister will be supporting Lynyrd Skynyrd on the full UK tour. Lucky you! smile

Never heard of him but have been on youtube and he sounds really really good

Should be good to hear him live.
