Has a topic been deleted since yesterday, or maybe I just can't find it?  Was talking about the sound quality at Rock City, saw Joe there last year and have seen GM there 3 times in the last decade....was looking here to edit that as I said twice, then whilst lying in bed I remembered it was actually 3 times!!!... Sound at the venue always perfectly fine smile

ELLO? Is anyone going to this?
I don't think John has his 'Bluesbreakers' any more, but I think it might be worth going to as he's not short of some great musical contacts!?  Opinions?
I'm sad that I once read that John had a massive collection of porn, which went up in smoke in a house-fire!  I can't deny that did put me off him a bit, although I tried to separate the music, but every time I see a pic of him now I just *try not to* think 'Dirty Old Man' sad

Hey, May 9th in Hamburg Germany - I heard it was great!!! (I weren't there cause Joe plays here in a week, that'd be too much wink )

I can definately tell you that
1st Mayall plays with a new, mostly young band
2nd he doesn't play much guitar, instead of that he plays keyboard / organ, blues harp, and SOMETIMES guitar.

Yes John always plays keyboard and sings as far as I know - that's why he attracts such good guitar players! big_smile
