In another thread Zampraz has published a clip of his strat
wich is fitted with gold lace sensors.

Anyways. I think they are slightly smoother and slightly fatter than stocks. They still sound very much stratty though. About same output as regular stock strat pickups. They are basically; less noise; smoother tone but still strat like. If you're going for the NDY tone I say get them. However you could probably find some used really cheap, I got mine for $50
