"I went to Wikipedia and looked up the BBC"....do you think we all drink tea, it rains all of the time and the BBC is the only public broadcaster in the UK? We're not living in the 1950's Jim. I'll buy you a beer if you're at the RAH though wink

I said I'd buy you a beer, not a glass of fizzy water with a sprinkling of hops!

Re: Why Joe Should Embrace Twitter

The Twitter experiment paid off a bit this weekend. Bob Lefsetz who I have talked about before here recently signed on to Twitter. Bob is a music industry commentator. He has a Blog and Email letter talking about many subjects but he really is an advocator of the new pardigm in music sales and marketing. He is read by music moguls and artists alike. Latley he has battled with Kid Rock on line, John Mellencamp and Gene Simmons.

I follow Bob on Twitter. Friday night he asked people to tweet him songs that they thought had hit potential like Gnarls Barkley's Crazy. I tweeted him a link to Its on You the bonus track from Blues Deluxe. I have always thought that song was a radio hit. Bob later wrote a blog that said the songs that were tweeted were too niche. He did however pick 5 of the best.
Joe was mentioned here is a link. http://lefsetz.com/wordpress/ scroll down to the Twitter piece. Joe is mentioned toward the bottom.

Don't get all up in arms that Bob thinks Joe's voice could be better he is the Simon Cowell of the internet. Bob is an opinionated but fair man who's readers number in the ten's of thousands.

This my friends is what Twitter is all about.
