Re: Whats in your suitcase?

I highly recomend Melatonin to combat Jetlag. I suffer badly from it and taking this stuff makes a very big difference. If your unlucky enough to suffer from bad jet lag it can ruin your first couple of days, althoug for most it is just a case of being out of synch with sleep patterns.

Suitcase:

Bottle Jack Daniels
Iphone
Cameras
Tickets
Note pinned to chest 'If found please return to the hilton hotel'

Re: Whats in your suitcase?

I snagged a wee bottle (20cl) of some 1970 Glenfarclas 38 years in the wood yesterday. I hope I can sneak it into the Cocoon. It's quite spectacular.

Re: Whats in your suitcase?

Nasty, I had a climbing accident years ago and compressed 3 discs, man it hurt like hell for months until I had them removed, I really can sympathise. I found hanging from a door frame by my arms helped lots. Get spme pain killers from the doc for the plane.

Re: Whats in your suitcase?

I would not try to sneak it in, could be very embarrasing, if you call ahead they will get some in for you. Or at the very least charge you corkage. Incidently I can get this in half dozen crates for £60 per bottle which is well below wholesale. Not sure how long the offer is for though. I go for one bottle but half a dozen too many for me. I would guess bottle price is over a £100 wich I would never pay for any drink!

This is a private bottling for a whisky consortium in Germany.
I'll just keep it back at the hotel. You just never know who you will bump into there! cool

Re: Whats in your suitcase?

They do have more than one cask put down at the same time. Although if you were in at the begining its a bargain smile Enjoy!
