Wow Lee and Renee, that sounds like a great itinerary, lots of cool stuff to do.  We couldn't get access to the circle at Stonehenge, waited to late.  You guys travel safe and see you over there.

Hi Bonabuddys today i have checked the Car and realize that the car is too old to go to London roll
so i dicided to go with the Bus . but the prices are very different
From 69 euro till 200
at the moment im really bussy . at The House it becomes a  new Roof and Heating isen`t compleed too

How much is the Eurostar trip to Paris & back 3 days later-I couldn't seem to quite figure it out....

When we booked it was 59 GBP for a return ticket.

Geko, if you can get yourself to the Moulin Blues at Ospel, you can come back to Amsterdam with us, share the living room with Eva for one night and then come to England with us by car. You can probably come back with us on Tuesday afternoon too! Travel costs (chunnel and gas) would be around 40 euros each way because we'd be splitting four ways. Let me know what you think.

So Michael - I have to ask - what is London's Best Record Store?  I also am trying to remember a good book store.  I remember going to this really huge one thirty years ago (and this was long before Borders and Barnes and Noble) in London but can't for the life of me remember the name!

Hi Sandy
The biggest record store is in Piccadilly, used to be Tower Records, then Zavvi, not sure what its called now.They stock a lot of unusual exports, blues/jazz stuff is on the top floor.Not a massive range even though its huge...but worth a look. Waterstones (formerly Ottakars) are prob the biggest bnookstore chain...theres one very close to the store I just mentioned.If you head towards Denmark St you'll pass a load of 2nd hand bookstores on Charing Cross road (opposite Soho and Chinatown...)   Camden is a good place for second hand books too...  as is Brighton if you have time to take a day out at the beach...

Thanks for the bookstore tips guys - Waterstones was the one I was trying to think of.  They used to have one in Boston years ago as well but their selection of English stuff was very limited.  I know my son will be looking for old train books, so the used bookstores will be great for him.  Extra suitcase anyone?  I'm going to look really funny walking around London with all these printouts of forum pages hanging out of my guidebook!

Although they sell mainly travel books, travel guides and maps, Stanfords in Covent Garden is well worth a visit.
