Topic: Stop! lead tone

Joe how the hell did you get that opening and second lead tone?  It's def. a semi-hollow first, then a LP right?  That LP sound on that song is my fav. tone on the album.  I keep listening to it over and over man - it cuts through so perfectly.

The first is a Gibson Lucielle through Blondie's rig and the second is through his live rig.

Re: Stop! lead tone

I just saw the youtube studio video of Stop. That has to be the best writen (arranged),best performed and most "truthful" felt track i've ever heard. The solos and and fills melt in w/ the vocals like a second voice. Tone was stupid good Joe,voice was on point, and emotion was WOW!!!!! I went through a hard devorce last year and it dug on that back up. The rest of the album is great but that is the best song i've ever "felt". And the 335 to the LP solo was very cool. Thanks for the song man.
