Re: Amp baffle

COOL
Is that ceriatone in the mini head head format? as it matches the budda
         perfectly cool rig

those settings are similar to mine except Ilike the bass on 10 lead master on 10
and lead channel 3 input gain 4.5 for les paul but 6.5 for strat as I love the way
the strat drips with fat  saturated distortion . The key to good sounds from the
Jube is to get the output tubes crunching on clean channel then dial in distortion
       from the lead channel awesome!!!

Re: Amp baffle

Yes indeed, its the small sized headcab.
I like that a lot. I will try your settings  too. I think mine are just the first settings I tried. Gonna tweak around more later.
As you know, its pretty time consuming to tweak the stuff right and i'm pretty busy at my job recently.
The best way to EQ the amp is while you play with the band. At least for me.
I personally prefer the 2550 in the drive channel because no frequence is overstressed.
Bass, mids and treble are well balanced. The Budda in clean channel is very middy and crispy sounding.
Its the perfect match for the strat. But anyway I try this thing with the clean channel.

No Alex you mis-understand me what I mean is switch to the clean channel
this is with clipping diodes disengaged and set up the sound until you have
a mild crunch then switch to the lead channel (LED ON) and you should have a nice
balance between output tube distortion and  clipping led distortion,
A bit like setting a plexi to a nice crunch then slamming the front end with a OD pedal
the Budda does seem like a good match for the jubilee I would like to
get one of these myself!!

Re: Amp baffle

Aha, now I understood. I will try it that way. cool
It always takes some time to find the sweet spots.
But I must say, as brandnew as it still is. Its a great sounding amp.
