For you non believers in Twitter. Go to http://search.twitter.com/ and type in Joe Bonamassa and see all the talk on there about him.

All of us know here who Joe is. There are a lot more out there that do too. Twitter is another tool to spread the word. It isn't Facebook or Myspace and it isn't trying to be either.

As a group here those that do Twitter can keep in touch just like you do by texting your friends
It is just a tool to do that.

I just joined Facebook 6 months ago. There is a reason it is exploding in popularity. It is a good social networking site. I have reconected with friends across the country. Twitter is just now breaking and it is exploding. I'm just jumping in. So has Joe.

It is a way to keep in touch. That is all. If I was a giging musician and depended on my fans to come see my shows I would hope they were all twitting.

Some good points there Jim, I see it as a tool for like minded groups to keep up to date. For instance it wouold be brilliant for Blues fans in my venue area to have group, then update as and when something good is on. How many times have we missed good shows, simply for not knowing they were on in the first place.
