Topic: New Baby

Some of you may remember back in July i unfortunately had to walk out of Joe's Belfast gig because i found out my wife was pregnant.  Today we had a beautiful baby daughter called Katie weighting 8lb 1oz mother and baby are both doing well.

Thanks everyone for your kind words has been a long couple of days but shes finally here.  I walked out during Sloe Gin and i still think about that moment and it will stay with me forever.  I do hope Joe comes back to Belfast some day and i can personally thank him for that moment.  Here is a little pic for you all to see

Dear All

Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind words.  Mother & baby are doing very well and were both discharged from hospital the next day.  We had an SRV & Bonamassa CD playing in the background in the Delivery Suite and the last song that played was Little Wing by SRV when she finally arrived. Best experience of my life.

I did suggest a few guitarist orientated middle names but unfortunately my wife shot me down.  Katie's middle name is Elizabeth after my grandmother who is no longer with us but i get the feeling she would smiling right now.  This little girl of ours wasn't supposed to happen.  My wife and i tried for a family for 12 years with no luck and in 2006 we had fertility treatment and we became pregnant with twins.  Half way through that pregnancy we unfortunately lost a twin which was to be a little girl.  After having our son in feb 2007 we didn't expect to have anymore children then during the summer my wife fell pregnant naturally.  Call it a miracle if you want but the photo is the end result.
