Topic: Marianne Keith

I bought Marainne Keiths CD Beautiful Distraction while at the Birchmere and I  liked it a lot so I figured I'd start a thread on her. Some of you have seen her and some will be seeing her soon as she opens for Joe and the boys for the next few concerts.   I find Cathys description of a tiny girl with a big powerful voice to be spot on. Here's her web site and a sweet little clip of life on the road.

Thanks for the heads up, Dazee.  What a fantastic voice this young lady has.  Something tells me she'll be going places.  Great songwriting, too.

Re: Marianne Keith

I agree...she's got a great voice...I was very impress and her stage presence (with the RI crowd which was very loud during her set) was truly professional...

She had a lot to say about that crowd when I saw her Sunday night in New Hampshire!  And, yes, she was very professional on Friday night.
