This was posted on Davy's myspace. It's what we've been waiting for... it includes the names of the band mates (hint: Jackson Brown's drummer and bass player). A few photos of the process including an amp setup. Read for yourself!

Unfortunately no release date yet.

Thanks for letting us know Eric

I remember reading on Davy's facebook page some time ago that he loved Jackson Browne's last album, so I guess it must have been a pleasure for him to record with his musicians.

Re: Davy Knowles album "making of" including the new band

These are excerpts from an E-mail that I received this morning:

"NEW ALBUMS - not one, but TWO!
Oh yes, we don't do things by halves  Having so far only had Roll Away and the iTunes EP available for purchase, we thought it was time we gave you a whole lot more, so we've got a double whammy for you...

The first will be 'Back Door Slam Live from Bonnaroo', which is set for release on vinyl and digital (the old and the new!) and will be out this month. It's a double LP of the show we played at the legendary festival last year - one of our favourite gigs of the Roll Away Tour and a recording we're really proud of. It will also be the last album featuring the Slam line up of Davy, Adam and Ross so could end up being a collector's item in years to come. We'll let you know the actual release date as soon as we can.

Then, in June, you'll be able to get your mitts on the next Back Door Slam album! In case you haven't heard yet, the album was produced by Grammy Award Winner Peter Frampton, who also features on several songs (& not always in the way you might expect...) It looks like it's going to be called 'Coming Up For Air', which is the title of a song on the record that some of you Slam fans will have heard played at gigs last year. The rest of the album features loads of brand new material and a superb cover of a great song by a British legend - a highlight of the record & again, judging by the cover suggestions that have been posted on the Slam forum, it's not something you'll expect!"

Just checked I Tunes. They are taking preorders for the live download and it will be available April 14th.

When I was a child I spoke as a child, But all I heard was how I should get ahead,
Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.
