Topic: Glasgow Newbie sayin Howdy

Hey everyone, umm kinda never used a forum before so i thot id  just go for it since im a massive and relatively new Bonamassa fan, its all thanks to Guitar Techniques magazine for giving him the exposure he truly deserves.
Anyhoo, feelin kinda out my depth here haha, 17 years old and ive got no clue wot do on this thing lol, so hey fellow Bonamassa fans, hopefully see some more of u like minded folk at the Glasgow Academy, Joes guitar playing gives me chills, and the new album is utterly addictive, been stealin ur licks Joe, sorry in advance haha.

Like you I never was on  a forum before till this one and now I'm on it for years. It's addictive but it's worth every second!

Hope you meet some of us on a Joe show, many did before and never regretted it!! Once you see Joe live, it will change your musiclive I promiss!!

Haha i can see what u mean by addictive Andre, from wot ive  seen so far, everyones real friendly and its really helpful. And wow, sounds pretty intense and i cant argue with that from the live footage ive seen, and thatll just be scratching the surface im guessing, Thanks itll be a wonderful experience big_smile

Hi Frazer and welcome to Joe's fine forum. Don't be scared, we are a friendly bunch and always very happy to welcome the young'uns like yourself.
Joe is inspiring a lot of budding guitarists and in our opinion you won't go far wrong with him as your role model.
Have fun at Glasgow, I'm sure you'll love it. Let us know your thoughts afterwards.

Hey ther Tripsy, yea thanks everyones been really great you're all such nice people. Thank you, i guess Joe's friendliness rubs off on us faithful fans haha, hes wonderful.:D

Yea totally he really is, plus hes so modest which is also endearing, i remember him saying his little motto 'stay humble, but dont compromise playing what you love', very true:)

Welcome to the forum.  Like many others, I never participated in forums until lately.  I think it is a testament to Joe's abilities that he appeals to young and old alike not that I'm old.  Again welcome and keep posting. big_smile
