Hi from Spain, new here
Anybody knows the gear for the guitar intro in “One of these days”, of the ‘Live from nowhere…’ album? which amp, pedals…?; that’t my favourite tone(I’d paid all my money for getting it).

I'm almost 100% sure that's the Marshall Jubilee and Category 5 JB-100 ('68 Marshall Superlead clone with Dumble midboost). For pedals, I don't think Joe was using any additional boost from his overdrives and the sound was pretty dry. I doubt he had the Boss DD3 delay or reverb on. IMO that's one of Joe's simplest and most organic tones that he gets. So, luckily for you, you can save your money. If you have a Les Paul you are already most of the way there. Joe explains that the Cat 5 + Jubilee is his flattest EQ combo of his rig with the other Dumble inspired amps filling in much more of the midrange ^ hump. If you are serious about reproducing this sound and don't want to use the above mentioned amplifiers I would recommend:
1) 100 watt Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 head with Mid Boost- on, high dynamic range-on, slight reverb.
2) 100 watt Marshall DSL 100 JCM2000 head with the red channel Lead 1, Deep switch engaged, mid shift off, little or no reverb
3) ABY switcher (Lehle, Voodoo Lab, and Radial make good ones)
4) Plexiglass Baffle from www.clearsonic.com or simply make your own. Also an Aurelex Great Gramma couldn't hurt.
5) If for some reason the above amps are not giving you enough distortion/gain, then I would recommend either a TS808 RI or Fulltone OCD. The OCD definately has more Marshall flavor.
6) For the slide work/solo in "One of These Days" Joe does kick in the Boss DD3 echo in the effects loop of his Marshall.
If you are less serious than that lol than I'd say a Les Paul + Marshall 1x12 combo would get you pretty close.

Thanks, man !!. I have several Gibsons(included a LP Standard model of 2001 and a 'chambered' of 2007); but, maybe, not the appropiate amps(Fender Concert reverb + Vox AC 30). The Marshall V-M calls me...

Those are definately some cool amps I just think you may have a harder time getting that tone with them. You sound like a combo man. I would think that a cranked/baffled Vintage Modern combo and your Les Paul would get you pretty close. It would be very cool to be able to use the VM as your main and then blend in the Vox for more of a chimey sound. Then for another sound you could try the Concert with maybe a Dumble inspired overdrive pedal (Zendrive, Jetter GSR, Fuchs Plush, Pearldrive ect) for all of the OTHER Joe tones. My personal favorite Joe tones at the moment are coming out of his Jubilee + Van Weelden or Carol Ann JB100. I'm definately jonesing for a good plexi type amp though.
