Topic: Hello all

Hi guys, I saw Joe at the Birchmere yesterday and I felt compelled to join. That was the best show I have ever seen in my life, and for the first time I felt like I got my moneys worth. I got tickets for my 15th birthday present, and it changed my life. I loved the story Joe told about the 12 people at his gig haha. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and congrats to Joe on the weight loss! Also he looked taller than I expected smile

PS- my Youtube username is weirdotis, if anybody wants to add me as a friend smile

You know, I have a lot more gear than I need, but not as much as I want.

Hey Matt,

A hearty welcome to Joe's world! Always good to see someone who is 15 years old appreciating Joe's music. And yes, Joe live can hardly be beat! Glad you signed up. smile

Welcome to the forum Matt. Glad you know and appreciate great musical talent when you hear it even at your tender age.
I will add you as a friend on Youtube, my name there is Tripsybon ( no prizes for guessing how I came to that one!)

Re: Hello all

Welcome Matt B,

Seeing Joe live once is all it takes to be hooked for life.  Saw him back in 2004 and every time he has been in the area I have been there.  I must say the show I saw on 3/7 in Elgin was the finest show I've seen. Glad you enjoyed the show.

Re: Hello all

Hey everyone,This is Phillyfooko from the great state of New Jersey. I saw Joe again last night in Reading Pa. Again I was just floored. I'm 55 years old and he makes me feel 18 again. We were staying at the same hotel and had the opportunity to meet Joe, Rick and Bogie. My picture with Joe is already hanging on the wall. I have seen over 700 concerts. I have seen all of the great blues guitar players and in my opinion JOE BONAMASSA IS THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER ALIVE.
The show last night was ridiculous, the audience went crazy. I wish I could be at RAH, it should be the show of a lifetime.

Re: Hello all

I totally agree Phillyfooko and glad to have you here too!

Welcome phillyfooko!

I, like you, am 55 too and I have said that since the very first time I saw Joe. There's something rejuvenating in his music and in his live performances. I have seen him perform live 10 times now and I feel younger each time I see him. I am one of the lucky ones who will be traveling to see him at the RAH and I feel honored to do so.

Glad you've joined our gang!!
