My sister and her husband live in Fargo, as well as my nephew and his wife.

My nephew moved everything out of his place before the water got too high. He just graduated from Pharmacy school so they don't have much - just a trailer in an unprotected area on the edge of town. A photo from last Friday showed water about a foot below floor level. The river crested on Saturday. I don't know if they've been able to check it again.

My sisters house is on the south side of Fargo, just a couple blocks from the river (normally). Temporary dikes and a lot of sandbags are probably going to save them. I say probably because they're not out of the woods yet. Fortunately, the river did not crest as high as predicted this past weekend, but the river is expected to crest again in a couple weeks.
