south orange show was amazing....
Wow, still on an adrenaline rush after that one. Same set as previous current shows, but this one was a BLAST. Joe just continues to get better and better.
I was lucky enough to be on the stage for the whole show.

Yes, I agree...with all of the above statements...and then some...
Great job Joe, Bogie, Carmine & Rick....as always...Thank you...
I needed that...
Also...It was nice to meet you Mindy & Richie (RJK)...
Pete
What a pleasure to see this post from you Pete, and I'm delighted that you had a great time!!!! I can imagine how much you 'needed' that!
I hope that we can look forward to a more detailed report from you, even if off forum.
I awoke with my jaw still on the ground from that show last night. I was at the Double D's show in Morristown 20 years ago and have loved Joe's music ever since. It has been a pleasure watching him grow and mature both as a musucian and a man. I will be following him for years and years and years to come. By the way, I LOVED the way he played the theremin!
WOW ..... what a show!!! A small intimate room with great acoustics and comfortable seats. Joe and the band were smokin. The new set list is a good mix of new and old (so many to choose from). Now it's on to The Berks Jazz Festival on Wednesday .... yippee!!!
It was a nice to meet Mindy (did you get that cheeseburger you were craving?), Pete (Ragamuffin1), moxieb and rudy67.
Thanks Joe ..... Sandy and I had an amazing time ...... Richie
GREAT show! Wasn't sure if I'd make it but I'm so glad I did! The guys really work great together and it's always a pleasure to see them do what they do best!
Marianne Keith was a pleasure to hear again, nice choice by Joe, she has a beautiful voice!
I don't have the setlist in my head but it's similar to what he's been doing, all I remember is they opened with John Henry, then Last Kiss....anyone have this written down?
While watching the show I was also thinking how wonderful all the behind-the-scenes people are as well...how the guitar tech had Joe's guitars ready and waiting after each song...they deserve a lot of credit too.
It was sooooo good to meet Pete, Muddy, Alan, Richie...Joe B has the nicest fans! And yes, Richie, as I was driving around LOST last night, I stumbled upon a Wendy's, caved in and got a cheeseburger, damn did it taste good at 12:15am! LOL! Alan I'm going to email you for that tutorial you promised me so I can attempt to d/l the show, thanks!
BTW who had that pic of the marquis that showed Joe's name along with "Sold Out", was it Richie or Alan??? You have to post that pic it was great!
All i have to say was that show blew me away! When he came out playing The Ballad Of John Henry i knew it was gonna be one outstanding show! THE SONGS ARE STILL STUCK IN MY HEAD!!:D I was even lucky enough to stick around after the show and get his autograph on my guitar strap! Best of luck on all of your other shows Joe!! Keep Rockin!!!!!!

Hi Mindy ..... I had the "Sold Out" picture ..... here's a link to it:

Enjoy ..... Richie
It was a great show, but it seemed to me that the sound was at times not so great. I'm no professional, but I noticed Joe having petal problems at times and that the sound crew was coming in to the aisles to listen, seemingly unhappy w/ what they heard on a few occiasions.
I have a picture of the "Joe Bonamassa--SOLD OUT" marquis from last night which I will get posted at some point. Those are getting more and more frequent at bigger and bigger venues. Syracuse sold out 1,500, Hagerstown sold out 1,000, last night sold out 500.
How long will it be 'til Joe is selling out 15,000-20,000 seat venues in a few hours??????
Of course, I wasn't there, but someone who was told me that one of Joe's four amps apparently packed up while he was playing, leading to feverish activity to try and get it fixed. There were also early feedback issues, so I guess it's fair to say that at times, the sound probably wasn't up to the standard of perfection that we have come to expect.
It's also possible that the people who notice things like this are people who also play, as opposed to those of us who are non-musicians and therefore more easily impressed.
Anyone have the setlist from the show?
