Topic: Things to see in Vilnius
Hi,
I've been thinking if Joe is coming to my hometown, as a host I should really recommend something interesting to see and post on this forum, as chances are there will be some followers through his tour, and tickets here cost starting from 15 quid + flight with Ryanair is another 50-100 quid (lands 100 km away from Vilnius, but you can have a taxi to there for another 30-50 quid), while pint of beer is around a 1,5 quid
Problem is - apart from nice little old town and some pubs with lots of hot girls not much can be offered. But I forgot one thing - we have a Frank Zappa square with monument to Mr. Zappa. Yes, yes, its in Vilnius, build 100% on private money rised by local artists who where listenint to Zappa during soviet times illegally. Below is the picture of it, if anyone is planning to attend Joe's show in Vilnius 14th of May and want some guidance, feel free to contact me on the forum or via email.
Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with promoter of the show, I'm just a fan trying to spread word about my city outside and about Joe inside

as well if you plan for a weekend somewhere, take your acoustic guitar and fly in for 2nd of May. We will have all city playing on streets, so called "street music day" in Vilnius. Amazing atmosphere, highly recommended, here is the website for it: http://www.gatvesmuzika.lt/en/
Huh, started this topic with one intention, ended up with tourist guide
