Haha I wish!  Man if I won the lottery I would probably give everyone here 1 thing that they wish they had for gear.  What a great group of people on this forum.  I wouldn't let you guys know I won a fortune because everyone would be like "uhh Two Rock, Dumble, Fuchs, Category 5, Gibson custom shop R9's, Joe signature guitars, etc" then bye-bye to my recently aquired income! lol

So who's paying for all of this you ask.?  I thought it was included in the stimulus package.  I think musicians need a bailout too.

Re: Gear wishlists!

I have a question about the "clear shield" Bonamassa uses. Does it help control feedback? Ive had a problem lately with smaller stages and having to be close to my rig. The only time my vol is all the way pegged is during some solos and if i rest or break it feedbacks. Might be a stupid question but have never used one.

The clear shield baffles have many advantages.  Besides saving you and the rest of your bandmate's hearing, it allows you to push the amps harder to get a better tone, it takes away some of the spikey high end, and it allows you to control the feedback at higher volumes.  With less air coming directly out of the speaker vibrating the guitar, feedback will be minimized.  They are very easy to make, or if you have the extra dough www.clearsonic.com .  Many of the other guys here have made their own as well and can offer advice.  I personally could never go back to playing without the baffle.  The best $100 I ever spent.

Re: Gear wishlists!

Clearshields...learned something new again here!  I started setting my pickup height at full volume...back it off til the feedback goes away...didn't lose any tone.  The custom 5 pickups I use aren't super high output either

Where the hell does one get a black-backed gold top anyway?
