Topic: Allman Brothers 3/19

Didn't get to go, but the one thing I thought would never happen finally did.  Clapton guests.  WTFF! Awesome! lol.  Here's the set list.  He's supposed to guest tomorrow too if the rumors are true.  I went to last Firdays show with Fuzzy and it was awesome - Loan Me a Dime with Boz Scaggs was just silly and that show prob. had the best Whipping Post I've seen live (about my 7th or so time seeing the Brothers).  Anyway, can't wait for some youtube footage.

Yes you do lol - the magic that happens at the Beacon with the Allmans is rediculous.  Everyone on stage is just spitting fire b/c they are that on.

I heard the next night was even better then the first night.  It was the 40 anniv. of the ABB.  Its rumor that on the last night this friday Dickey will make the show.

I also really like how nobody stepped on anybodys toes they all held their own with each other.  I have to say Derek Trucks was the most impressive on those videos I've seen.  Not only does he have the Duane Allman sound he's made the slide his own sound that is his own.
