Topic: Finally got around to it!

Hey - I'm new on here..........

I love all things Blues and BluesRock, and picked up on Joe's music a couple of years back. One album was enough to get me hooked. (Of course I've now got the collection)

Can there possibly be a better BluesRock artist around at the moment?

Managed to catch Joe live a couple of times last year, at Crewe (where I walked out the door with my mouth gaping in disbelief at what I'd seen) and Manchester (where I gave a knowing smile when I witnessed many other similarly affected first timers).

Only trouble is, when I've seen Joe live I cant bring myself to pick up my own guitars for several days afterwards - i just feel so inadequate!

Anyway, Mrs Icon and I have tickets for Wolverhampton and RAH. Just can't wait!

So, I've often popped into browse the forum as a guest to find out the latest, and you all seem such a great bunch so I thought it was about time I joined up........

Welcome to the forum Icon.  Perhaps we'll bump into each other at the RAH! Check out details of the pre RAH gathering and the aftershow party.

Its great you have tickets for the big one, but also special that you managed to see Joe in those smaller venues that are unlikely to see him there again.

Welcome on board!  You described your first Joe experience perfectly (mouth agape, thinking how can someone DO that?).  Glad you got tix to the RAH, only 78 days to go now till the gig of the year.  Hope to catch up either at the pre or after show party.

Hi my name is Geoff and I'm a Bonaholic. Yep, welcome to the forum Icon. We're a pretty harmless bunch here, with one thing in common of course. It's great to hear that you have witnessed that steam train that is a Joe Bonamassa show. No matter how many times you see him, he always exercises those goosebumps and hairs on the back of your neck. I can't wait for my next fix!

Welcome:) I too was at Manchester which was excellent. I have front row tix for Wolverhampton and RAH too:cool: I am hoping Joe may have the RAH line up for wolverhampton  as they have to practice together at some point, the last few shows before the RAH make sense to me.
