Topic: John Mayall & BB King Announce UK Tour

The living blues legend that is BB King has announced a UK tour that will also see the brilliant John Mayall join him as support.

The duo will hit the UK in June for a handful of dates around the country, including a big date at Wembley Arena on 28 June.

BB King is touring in support of his Grammy nominated latest album, One Kind Of Favor which was released last year.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday at 9am.

Here are the dates:

24th June: Manchester MEN
25th June: Birmimgham NIA
27th June: Cardiff CIA
28th June: Wembley Arena

Interesting news Relayer. I'd never considered that I'd have the opportunity to see BB King in my lifetime. Manchester is the nearest to me, and that is still a considerable distance, but I certainly will consider it. Anyone else considering going?

Nicky Horne on Planet Rock mentioned this evening that tickets for these dates go on sale at 9.00am Friday morning but you can buy tickets in advance from the Planet Rock website. http://www.planetrock.com/index.html
