Wow

I am looking for an accoustic at the moment and have been keeping an eye out for second hand deals. My wife calls me and says she has seen a 'nice' looking guitar in a local second hand shop window. I asked her to pop in and see what make and model it is. Here is the kicker 'its a Martin and & Co 018'. They want £40 for it, new they are over £1500!!!!
Me says 'buy it now'. Shop assitant tells her that some kid put a £10 deposit on it that morning and is coming back at the weekend:( My number was left to give me a call if he does not show or to pass on to him to see if I can buy it from him. Missed it by a couple of hours. My reckons it was in perfect condition. I can only assume it was someones estate that had been donated to charity, hope it gets a good home.
