I can't claim to be a 'fan' as such although I have heard his stuff and he is a genuine 'one off'. To be honest I love his personal story and I think he has one of the best album titles of all time.

I agree. I read about him in Blues Revue and though his story was cool, but I havn't gotten into his stuff yet. It could happen though!!
