I think that Les Pauls are one of the most beautiful objects on the planet.......but this one doesn't do it for me.

I've just watched Tripsys U Tubeclip of Joe playing Blues Deluxe from Manchester this year. That Les Paul does do it !!
And I love the soccer reference at about 8.45 in smile

Reminds me of a really bad 70's porn flick.  Les Pauls don't require anything but a nice finish.  Leave the gold sparkle to the Strats.

TRUE THAT!  Man, it looks just like a bass boat. I like goldtops, but this gold sparkle is rather ugly. Esecially that is is gold sparkle all around the guitar, including the back, neck and sides. I can't even see the binding.
