Topic: Old fan, new to forum

Hi All,
I'm Amanda from Utica,NY.  I literally grew up listening to Joe.  I remember watching him play locally here in town when he was 10/11 ish.  He was awesome then and I was amazed someone my age was doing that.  I continue to be a huge fan.  I would love to meet Joe and have him visit my school.  I am a local teacher and his work with Blues in Schools is amazing.  Rock on Joe!

Hi Amanda and welcome to the forum. How fantastic to have grown up with Joe, you must feel very proud of what he has achieved. Will you be coming to the RAH gig next year?

Hi Amanda and thanks for jumping in. You must be very proud of your hometown boy! I remember when he used to say "I'm Joe Bonamassa from Utica New York"....and, that's where he will always hail from to me. To arrange a BITS program, you need to contact Joe's management. Thanks all.  We are very proud of Joe's success.  He has never forgotten where he came from and he is still the same person he was growing up.  I have taught my classes about him because he is such a role model to kids growing up in our small city.  Thanks for the info Cathy.  I can't wait to see Joe back in town or near the area again.
