Hi, Could anyone put up a set list from one of Joe's U.K. shows. Iam going to see him in Liverpool on the 2nd. I want to get to know as much of his material as i can. I only discovered Joe about a month ago and i'm completely blown away by his playing. Many thanks Mark.

Can't find Liverpool gig mentioned on ' tour dates ' section . What is the venue ? Will be there if you can provide the info.

I can accept if you've made a mistake , but please put us out of our misery & confess - seems to me we're a reasonable group of people on this forum , you will be forgiven . Who knows might bump into you at Pacific Road on Tuesday if that was the gig you were talking about .
Whatever, hope you enjoy the gig you attend as much as others obviously have so far who've posted about UK gigs.
It's a very long time since I've awaited a gig with such euphoric anticipation - seeing the Rockpalast DVD last night for the first time certainly didn't calm me down ! Seeing 2 gigs in 2 days would be too much to expect I know , but I'm hoping you can make that dream come true.

Jeff, see you at Pacific Road on Tuesday. Like you I'm a new convert. Heard Joe on the Blues show on Radio 2 the other week and straight away bought three tickets for Manchester Academy last Saturday - he was AWESOME. I've been telling all my mates and I've had to buy eight tickets for Pacific Road, such has been the interest after directing them to some of the videos and tracks on the links on Joe's site. As I've said elsewhere, I'd like to see him up there on a G3 gig. I'm absolutely positive he'd go down better than Robert Frip. I know Joe's jammed with Satriani (pictures elsewhere on this site) what a treat that would be! Guess I'll be at the front like last time
I e-mailed markj on his personal e-mail address and didn't get a reply so I guess the rumour about Liverpool must be untrue, although there is a day missing in the tour. I've checked the usual gig sites in Liverpool and no-one is promoting a Joe gig
Hi, Geoff sorry i got the date wrong its the 3rd not the 2nd and when i said gig in Liverpool i meant Bikenhead, i class Birkenhead as Liverpool. Sorry about the delay,only got back from Venice, Italy last night Mark.

didn't have time to reply properly yesterday , but did want to say thank you for taking the time to look into that for me - 8 is impressive & beats me,
only 7 including myself !
satriani doesn't really do it for me , but a good friend ( also the best guitarist i know ) really rates him & had a similar opinion of fripp to yourself . i rate feel & note selection much higher than speed , but he tells me satriani was playing a bit looser on the last g3 tour & seemed happier to jam than previous tours . i always tell him less notes with more meaning, but to be fair i've never really given satriani much of a chance my first impression wasn't very good & didn't like his processed tone . don't get the time to listen to the things i really want to hear as it is , bought the rockpalast dvd & the new metheny/mehldau cd earlier this week & haven't got to the cd yet & metheny is one of my all time favourites .
anyway , there were still 170 tickets left yesterday when i picked up my 7th ticket
so keep on promoting the gig & enjoy tuesday " down by the river "

Hi Jeff, sorry to upstage you. Actually it's 9 but the ninth is a staff booking as my mate works for the guitar workshop next door and managed to get a freeby. He's a pretty cool player himself. I don't mind paying for my tickets see! I have to say I've never been so bowled over by an artist since christ don't know when. Clapton, Hendrix all spring to mind. But let's hope Joe still plays more than the three gigs next year, you mention elsewhere! See you Tuesday! I'll be at the front!

I'm sure I read somewhere on here that Europe 07 is penciled in for 'end of Feb/start of March' and 'end of June/start of July' but no gigs listed yet. We live in hope eh? (If not then I've started a rumour, lol).
