Truly one of a kind and as I have stated elsewhere, he was always on his game.....

You Can Do Anything You Want To Do

Re: RIP Albert Collins

one of the most chilling experiences I ever had was looking at his prized and battered Fender Telecaster and strap at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.  What a great singer, performer, guitarist, showman.  Definately a big influence in my book, the biggest influence on Jonny Lang, and even Mr. Bonamassa too.

Re: RIP Albert Collins

It's been 15 years? Seems like yesterday.  One of the greats in the blues without a doubt.

Re: RIP Albert Collins

I consider my self lucky as I have seen him several times in Connecticut at Toads Place in New Haven.
Always killer shows.
Back then in 88 to 90 he had debbie Davies.
And you can imagine how that was.
And I have him on right now.
