Topic: Hi from Maggie

Hi everyone,

My name is Maggie,  live in London and am old enough to have seen Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of Wight festival

My cousin and I first saw Joe at a Blues club Pete Feenstra used to run in Tooting.  Have been a huge fan ever since.  Usually see him play in London - yes the Boom Boom, Borderline, Shepherds Bush but have also been known to arrange 'Joe's gig holidays' in other places like Falmouth and Bristol (12th Nov).  He is amazing. Steadily converting friend and family who don't need any encouragement after coming to a gig with us.  My daughter (20) has been twice to Shepherds Bush to see Joe with me.

Bought tickets for RFH this morning after a fairly restless night worrying that I wouldn't get through - will be sitting in the stalls to the left of the stage.  I will be the one with white hair and a big grin!  Roll on May 4th.

Hi Maggie,

Glad you joined Joe's forum, welcome to the place where Joe addicts hang out!

I know what you mean about how easy it is to convert people into JB fans, once they've seen/heard him they're hooked.

See you at the RAH!! big_smile

If I'm alive when I'm 99 I'm still gonna be saying, "Remember 4th May 2009 when we saw Joe at the RAH... what a night that was!"

Hi Maggie. Thanks to Clairol I'm not a white haired lady, but I'll have a big grin too! There are many of us "oldies" here and we all say the same thing about Joe. A once in a lifetime talent. You're also right about this forum..we really are connected...around the globe!! So welcome, fasten your seatbelt, and enjoy your ride on the Bonamassa Express....   Cathy
