Topic: Anderson Hall - So. Cal. Band - Video - Have you Ever Loved a Woman
Hi All!
Here's a band I thought you all might enjoy!!
As promised, I give you a bit of video of Anderson Hall, the band we just had the pleasure of seeing open for Sonny Landreth on October 24, 2008. Here, they perform Freddie King's "Have You Ever Loved a Woman" (one of my all time FAVORITE songs). This was our second opportunity to see this fun Southern California band, the first being when they opened for Joe Bonamassa himself in the spring of 2007. Both gigs were held at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Dave (Shredit) should remember seeing them when they opened for Joe. He, his wife and son were there that evening as well..... (although we never met, and had no clue until later.....who the other was........ I hadn't even ever heard the term "Internet forum" yet..... let alone had the nerve to go EXPLORING around on one). Can you imagine THAT??!!!! LOL.
This band came together originally at the University of Redlands in Southern California, and the members remain good friends today. I like them a lot. Neil has a fine voice and is a terrific songwriter. Let me know what you think.
Please be aware that this band is also extraordinarily generous with their tunes. We've received free CD's from them at both shows (we made a contribution happily), and there are free downloads on their website too. Check it out boys and girls!!! Enjoy!

Also, if you're interested in hearing the incomparable Freddie King's version of this HOT tune, here's a link for that:
