Topic: Octoberfest anyone?

Were having our annual one on the court this year....Deb and I are hosting, 20 neighbors and friends....everything is fun.....well maybe not, probably not a good year with the most important election of my lifetime.....I had to step away for a moment, it's getting real heated out on the patio (never mix politics and religion in at a get together).....hope you all enjoy yours, it's a great way to keep the neighborhood tight on most occasions.....I better get out there and mix in some sports takes smile

I have an Octoberfest event next Thursday night...sort of business related. It's at Berghoff's in Chicago, so should be awesome German food and beer.
Next weekend is my brother-in-law's (Jeff) birthday (on Halloween) and his wife's having a party Saturday night. He doesn't know it yet, but the costume theme is everyone's gonna dress up as Jeff.
Technically, it'll be Novemberfest, but we're pretty close.

I'm impressed you retreated to the house and safety from the political/religious debates. You're smarter than I usually am.

Glad to hear you're having some fun Shred. You and Deb need a break!!! We did that last week combined with a house blessing. Lots of great food and drink, including a huge German Choc. cake...yummy....I really liked the veal sausages...sorry, I know that's not politically correct. You know how I LOVE Halloween!!!!      Cathy
