Topic: Greetings from Washington

I live in Washington; not the Washington everyone thinks of... where the sun seldom shines and it rains all the time. There is another Washington... about 2/3 of it to be exact... Eastern Washington. I am in the SE corner of the state in Clarkston which is a two hour drive south of Spokane. My wife and I went to see Joe when he came to Spokane back in August... kind of a nice birthday present since my birthday was just a few days before!

I have been listening to Live From Nowhere in Particular. I am having a tough time deciding which song I like the best. Listening to Mountain Time as I type this. Gives me goose bumps!

I feel privileged to be among the army of Joe fans. I still think of the concert often. I have seen a lot of great acts... Bad Company, BTO (one of the TIGHTEST bands I have ever heard live), Yes, Tom Petty, Black Crowes, even The Kingsmen (see them if you get a chance!)... I would put Joe right up there as one of the finest concerts I have seen.

If anyone on this forum has any direct contact with Joe, please pass on my best wishes to him for health, safety and success.

Welcome to Joe World acaines...You live in a lovely part of the country. One of the wonderful things about this place is that Joe reads posts and even posts himself on occasion. So he'll get your well wishes first hand. Thanks for joining and have fun.    Cathy

Re: Greetings from Washington

My best suggestion is to get yourself a copy of Joe's "So It's Like That" CD and run the "Pain & Sorrow" track at the highest possible volume. Guaranteed to bring tears to the eyes of the most die hard metal fiend. smile

Major Tom to ground control...

Welcome to the forum Acaines. I think we all agree with you that a Joe show is one of the best live music experiences it is possible to have.
