Does anyone know if My Mistake ever got any airplay? Every time I listen to it, I find it hard to believe that it was not in the Top 20...Top 10...Top 5....well okay...No.1 
No argument here. That is a great song. It should've been a million seller.
The only Joe Bonamassa song that got any airplay here in Indy was "Miss You, Hate You". They even had Joe in the Q95 studio performing a live acoustic version of it while he was in town for a show. Stupid me, I thought local radio might have taken a turn for the better.
Then Clear Channel Communications took over Q95 and it has been friggin' awful. They play the same canned crap day in & day out so I just put CD's on anymore.
I feel that "So It's Like That" was supposed to be his breakthrough CD. Several of those songs could have been released on the airways. It was timing and corporate-canned rock stations that really have kept Joe's name from being where it needs to be- among the greatest guitar players alive today.

Hi Patty-First time we saw Joe, we actually talked to him before the show, my hubby requested My Mistake, to my knowledge it hasn't been played live...we pretty much love every note on SILT, but that song is extra special. You remind me of ME, when I first discovered Joe...You've got that SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS kinda' feeling. I won't guarantee that time eases that desire!
Anyway, Jane, now you are a woman that knows where all the inventory is. Find Patty Joe's shirt that says.."I Fancy the Guitar Player"! She's got it real bad! She may need a doctor or a nurse, better yet a straight jacket...

Although there are no hard and fast rules about what are acceptable avatars. I would assume an avatar not in good taste would be reason to ban someone from participating here.
David I must therfore warn you. Would you please reconsider your avatar knowing that there are music lovers frequenting this board. I checked with Phil and he agreed. Fabio was better than Yanni.

Okay, I got it bad, I admit it. But ya' gotta' give me a break....turned 50 today and told Fotopete it would be real cool to have Joe call me from Europe and sing the Happy Birthday "Turnin' 50" Blues....lol Life goes by pretty darn fast and I figure ya' might as well have some great fun along the way.....discovering Joe has been a treat. Have always loved music, have Bachelor of Music Education degree...so I figure following someone like Joe is just natural......well I may have had one too many treats at work today (sugar & caffene high...know what I'm talkin' about anyone?? ) Party on !!!!
