Re: On your marks.... JB & BDS

I'm back, I need a TON of sleep.....and then I'm gonna make plans to move to Austin.....

I'll post more later (after another nap...), but as far as the "jam that never was...", it woulda been great.....but it was kinda hard to feel bad that it didn't happen.....THAT'S how great that show was.....from BOTH acts.  I felt it was gonna be historic.....and as far as I'm concerned, I was right.  This was a show that, 20 years from now, you could say "Yeah, I was there..."

From what I gathered later, BDS drove straight to Austin (3-4 hours...) right after their set because they were sceduled at the ACL at 2:50 the following afternoon, then had Antone's at 10:00 that night.  Davy mentioned to me at Antone's how hectic everything had been.  So it was more a matter of time constraints than anything else.....

Jim ol' buddy, I am highly anticipating not only a show review, but on an excursion of that length, you gotta have some really good pre/post show stories to tell as well. Just hope none of them involved the law.

Tell me about the car i saw parked outside your door ? Tell me what you left me waiting two or three hours for ? Tell me why when the phone rings, baby, your up and across the floor ? Please dont keep me wondering no more.....

You ain't gonna believe this.....

I just got done posting about the BDS show at Antone's.....a LONG post.....

When I hit submit, I was told I didn't have access to that page.  Seems I had just finished a scan in the middle of that post, and the cookie that had me logged in had been deleted by said scan.....my post is in here, somewhere.....laughin' at me.....

It's a good thang I got a sense of humor.....

Yea, I posted on Davey Knowles facebook site asking him how the gig went and how they got on with Joe. Here's his reply

"Hiya,
Was a good gig - and got to chat for a few minutes, but things are always hectic at these gigs,

Hope all is good,"
