Topic: Nothin' But Trouble...

You'da been proud, Cathy.....they nailed it.....

Turn out was a little light (40, maybe...), but there were two other thangs in town that drew heavier.  I told Chris it's called payin' dues.....

But if they keep playin' like that, their crowds are gonna grow exponentially.....

They not only play EXTREMELY well, but they have great stage presense.....marketability.  Exactly what they're lookin' for at the IBC.....

I'll see ya in Memphis.....

As one of the few others here to have seen NBT live, I can only agree with Jim - they are a great, tight little band who are fun to watch!

And they do Dixie Chicken too. cool

They did Dixie Chicken Saturday night!  Of course, instead of "low down southern whiskey", it was "low down chicken whiskey".....

They also did two of my other favorites, "Goin' Down", and "Oh, Well".....one right after the other.  I don't know why it never occured to be, and I've never seen it done before, but those two songs together like that are absolutely perfect for crankin' the crowd up!!

Chris also did Freddie King's "Hideaway", and nailed it.....

But their original stuff was every bit as good.  I had seen them at the after-PBF gig at Moondog's, and knew they were good.....but, damn.....

They played for 4 hours, with one 20 minute break.  Which is pretty incredible, considering they had a 6 hour drive ahead of them, and another gig at 2 the next afternoon.....

These cats are goin' places.....
