Topic: Olympian Shawn Johnson

I had the privelege and honor to attend Shawn Johnson's  Welcome Home party last night at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines along with 7,000 other people.  What a gem she is!  Full of innocence & sweetness.  Very upbeat, cute as a bug's ear and a wonderful sense of humor.  She is an excellent ambassador for our country.  I wish you all could have seen her. An Earth Angel for sure.                                    Patty

I'm a big fan of hers Patty, I saw a TV special they did in Des Moine on her....she is pretty humble, I guess all you midwest girls have those qualities smile ....I hope she gives it one more try in London
