Topic: Your Top 10 Artists

I figure this topic belongs in this section because most people might have Joe in their top ten and other people like to vote on lists besides street teamers.  My local NPR station, WXPN (88.5 FM)is doing a top ten list along with 10 honorable mentions.  You don't have to be a member to participate.  If you've ever heard of David Dye, he is a host for the World Cafe Live and he's interviewed many a great one, you can hear Derek Trucks or Bonnie thru the archives, also Les Paul.  Joe has sold out the World Cafe the two times he's played there and WXPN owns it and long story short, I've been trying to get Joe played on their blues show which airs on Saturday night with Jonny Meister and on the station, BUT NO ONE IS LISTENING TO ME. (that I know of) This station plays absolutely everything, is very eclectic and plays KWS and SRV, they should be playing Joe!

I forgot to mention, if Joe places in the top 885, it's a guarantee WXPN will play his music!  I hate to sound greedy, but I'd love to see him placed well. Online voting ends Sunday, September 10th. Thanks again!

I listened to the entire blues show Saturday night.  It was a good show and many of Joe's songs would fit in there.  The station features albums weekly, this week it's Bob Dylan's new album; Keb'Mo' already had his turn.  The blues DJ was playing alot of Guitar Shorty's new album, he's coming to town soon. I like Guitar Shorty's song about I Got Your Number and it's 666... Lucky number those 6's..someone just came out with a new perfume/cologne...Lucky 6...
