Topic: Bonnie Raitt Shows Cancelled

Does anyone know why she cancelled her 2 shows at Casino Rama in Orillia, Ontario? Did she find out that Ontario relies on nuclear for 50% of it's energy?

Had great tickets for both nights, so I'm naturally disappointed.

Through a Bonnie fan in Arizona & according to google alert...

I got a Google Alert Saturday regarding the cancellation of her show at Harrah's Casino in Council Bluffs, IA. According to a press release from Harrah's she is "dealing with a dire family health emergency". I haven't seen anything else about that since Saturday - there is a nice review of her show at the Dutch Mason Festival in Nova Scotia Saturday night, though.

Sending lots of thoughts and prayers to Bonnie.  I don't know any details at all, but I know her only sibling and brother was in remission a few years back with brain cancer, right after both of Bonnie's parents passed away.  I hope we hear something soon, until then, Bonnie will be on my mind.  I'm sure it is a very stressful situation and canceling was an emergency situation.
