Topic: Gigliotti

I just saw Brad Paisley's Hershey commercial in which he plays guitar on the beach (ya know that one???).

It looks like he's playing a Gigliotti (sp??) but I cant be sure as he's not shown for long.

Does he have one??

Re: Gigliotti

no that's not a gigliotti. You can tell by the neck and what's on the body. It's some kind of custom telecaster though.
Funny I remember when I first heard of B.P. they said he was Eddie vanhalen on cornbeef hash!
not a fanatic of him though.

Re: Gigliotti

From the issue of Guitar One that I mentioned earlier...

Guitar One wrote:

Besides his beloved '68 Telecaster, Paisley has several Tele-style Crook guitars, all of which are customized with different pickups, so that each plays a slightly different role live and in the studio. All are strung with Ernie Balls, gauges 10 to 46. His acoustic instruments include two Larrivee flat-tops-a D-9 and a D-10, both with Fishman Marix pickups-and a Gibson F-5 mandolin. His acoustic guitars are strung with Ernie Balls Phosphor Bronze strings, 13 to 56.
