Too bad he doesn't play any smaller cities. None of those are near me. 
C'mon Frank, I see you're playing more than one date in CA. NY has more than one city too. How 'bout eliminating one of those dates in MD? Just kidding, Jane.

I figure that Baltimore Ram's head could get enough fans but not sure how that all works out. I would/could go to 2 different shows in Baltimore for every one hiking to Annapolis.

If you have never seen Frank yet believe me when I tell you that he should not be missed. He blows your mind he is so good. One of my favorite things about seeing Frank live is looking at the people around me with their jaws dropping to the floor, almost is disbelief at what they are seeing and hearing, he is really that good.
I also know that Joe respects him, not only because he mentioned Frank as one of the people who should have been on the top 100 guitarist's poll in Rolling Stone, that poll was a joke anyway. But also because when I met Joe after one of his shows in the Chicago area I told him that his performance was Frank Marino esque. he thanked me for saying that, he knew just what I was talking about, and that was giving a mind blowing performance.
As much as I like Indigenous, and I really like them, if I was going to choose who to see between them and Mahogany Rush it would be a no brainer, i'd see Frank.
Another thing that you always see at a FM show is a whole lot of guitar players in the audience, they are there to watch and learn from one of the masters.

Not only do I already have my tix for the show at the Belly Up, I'll be getting to meet Frank and do an interview! I'm stoked!
The blues isn't about a look or a specific sound, the blues is something deep within. But the sound doesn't hurt things, you know? ~ Ben Hernandez

Very cool Joanie, I have met Frank after a number of his shows , he is a great guy you will find him to be an easy interview. He has always been very friendy to his fan base, he is one of the most humble people I have ever met in my life.

Jane, having to choose between Frank and Robin? Yikes! I wouldn't wish that on anyone. But, money being what it is, you have to go with what fits your budget. I saw Robin in July and was floored at how much fun the guy was having on stage. Made for an excellent concert.

Jane: I think you'd be surprised at how close Jaxx actually is to you, I'd bet you could make it in about an hour give or take 15 mins barring traffic issues. I went there when Frank came last year and he totally blew my mind...I've been a fan since the 70's and had never seen him, though not for lack of trying. This was the night before Ram's Head Tavern...and Jaxx is more like...Recher...you can stand up and move & dance, etc. Ram's Head, though still pretty amazing, sort of paled by comparison, and the tickets were like twice the price. Trower was $63 at Ram's Head and $20-25 at Jaxx. Definitely worth the drive for a great rock show.
Hope you had fun at the beach.....we shoulda hooked up. Found a great lil' blues band...lower case blues outta Rehobeth. Still young but very talented...the guitarist has the Jimi/SRV thing on steroids goin'....pretty cool stuff. Keep an eye peeled for 'em.

For me it would be Frank all the way not that i don't like Robin Trower,Frank is more intense and Blistering-Trower great as well

Holy crap Mike B. Frank on mytube. Thanks for the links. Been a Frank fan since the 70's and finally got to see him about 6 months ago in Pittsburgh. 3 hours and 20 minutes without a break. The man can go all night. I actually was fortunate enough to get my hands on a dvd from Montreal in 2005. Shoot me an e mail or post if you want a copy. And anybody that has the chance to see Frank, DON'T PASS IT UP! It may be the last time he tours the states. Thanks again.
