Last night @ Moondog's (in Pittsburgh,Pa) Ana Popovic played one of her most amazing sets I have ever seen in my  life. The place was jammed pack and I'm so happy I waited outside an hour before the show so I could be up front and save a few seats too.

Always smiling maybe it's because of the recent birth of her 1st child she seemed so happy ,so content, so much more into what she was doing than never before. She also has that Glow to her that was not there previously...: )

So guys/girls if she is coming to a town near you GO AND CHECK HER OUT-you will not be disapointed!!!!

Think Little Feat's "Spanish Moon" without the hookers and hustlers, or freezing rain.....

Finally saw Moondog's with a full house.....100 people!!

(the sandwich board sign on the sidewalk out front said "Welcome Mike Miller and the Gay Caballeros"...square biz...)

Other than a bass player that thought he was Flea, she's got a great band.....very tight.  Actually he was very good, just a bit animated.....

She's got a great voice, and her slide work is as stunning as she is!  She's gorgeous.....and gets it.  She's plays the blues from her soul.  I think she played about 3 hours, with one break.....simply an outstanding show.....best 15 bucks I've ever spent..... 

What a great little girl she is.....very approachable, funny, talented, and an accent that could bring a man to his knees.  I talked to her after the show for a bit, but she had to get back to the hotel to take care of her baby.  Lucky baby.....

I coulda sat at a table close enough to smell her perfume with Don and Laura, but I opted for a seat at the end of the bar.  That way I woulda had 30 feet to meander through before I made a fool outta myself.....somebody STOP me!!

I just got home a little while ago, Don.....and I ain't sayin' why!!

SRV..I took over 200 pics...so it will be awhile....probably easier just to give you a cd's worth so you can droll at your own convience...L.O.L
